Choose one compatible status per weapon, then prioritize permanence

A melee weapon and sidearm each have an Infusion slot. Early levels may require Resolve and provide a limited number of infused hits; current gameplay commentary shows key Infusions becoming permanent at the final retail upgrade. Gameplay guide

How Infusions work

  1. 01
Equip the stone in the Infusion slot of a compatible melee weapon or sidearm.
  2. 02
Activate it when required, spending Resolve and receiving a limited application.
  3. 03
Earn kill XP while it remains equipped.
  4. 04
Temper it; the final retail tier may make the infusion permanent.

Why Infusions are strong Level 3 candidates

Removing repeated activation saves Resolve and makes status application consistent. Players describe lower-tier Infusions as awkward because activation can take longer than the short effect lasts. Community discussion

How to choose an Infusion

  • Confirm compatibility. Many Infusions do not fit every weapon.
  • Match hit pattern.Fast weapons favor repeated application; slower weapons need a payoff worth each hit.
  • Budget Resolve.Do not starve Shell, sidearm, or Ability actions just to maintain a weak temporary infusion.
  • Test before Level 3.The permanent upgrade is expensive and no refund is documented.

Known Infusion names

Accursed Stone, Arbiter's Prize, Emberseed Stone, Frostshard Stone, Hag Stone, Hand of Rock, Inflamed Clawstone, Monarch's Vestige, Serpent Stone, and Voltaic Crown are currently listed as Infusions. Exact effects and compatibility should be confirmed on their future entity pages.
